Exosome engineering

One of the strategy to engineered exosome is to load the cargo into the mother cell source (indirect loading). The other one is to directly couple exosomes with RNA, proteins or chemotherapy. The different engineering technologies can be categorized into two subtypes: the passive (combination) and the active way. But almost all techniques shown in the literature are based on the alteration of vesicular membrane to allow extravesicular medium (and the cargo of interest) to enter inside EV. Therefore, all these methods induce a loss of EVs properties. On the contrary, based on a patented technology, EVerZom develop an active way to engineer exosomes by turbuloporation. During the mechanical stimulation to produce exosomes from cells (describe in exosome generation box) an exogenous molecule of interest can be added to be load into the exosomes. This particular technic allow to keep EVs properties as couples with the effect of the cargo of interest.

EVerZom platform is built on four blocks from the cell source to the formulated exosome drug
